Too Often We Pray, Pray, and Pray...

Scripture suggests that God operates in principle... The principle of “Sowing and Reaping.” We are assured in scripture that we will reap what we sow.

We often use this scripture in the negative when we are hoping that other folks will get payback for doing something ill.

But that scripture goes on, “...so, be not weary of well doing...” actually encouraging us that there is payback for doing "good things!"

When we are praying for important things (I believe) that God’s answer will have “already been” the manifestation of opportunities... that when you have put your hand to... you set in motion what will be the manifestation of your desires.

So often we pray, pray, pray, and wait. Scripture reveals that, “Faith without works is dead.”

I truly believe that my blessings are directly related to my sowing into young lives those 17 years at juvenile detention, how I respond to folks, my cable programs, and my “attempts” at motivating folks to wellness on social media (i.e. this blog!).

In other words, “sowing and reaping” is not mostly about money... its mostly about people.

And, as well, a sower plants... for a future harvest.

When the opportunities manifest (and they will)... put your hand to them! Often, these “opportunities” are as simple as a good word, or a good deed... rather than the opposite . (hint: anti-political correctness is a blessing killer!)

Considerations:

1, When you are hungry, there will be nothing to eat if you hadn’t already planted. Don’t wait for the calamity... to begin sowing.

2. Sow into yourself healthy food and exercise. You will reap the benefit... offsetting a calamity!
